February 05, 2016 – ISSeP, invited as a regional collaborator of the SmartPop project.

As part of the SmartPop research project, ISSeP was invited by VITO to take part in the 2nd workshop of the founding fathers of the land use prediction model, the “RuimteModel”, on February 5, 2016 in Brussels. The ISSeP’s regional collaboration in modeling urbanization in Wallonia will be mentioned.

ISSeP, in collaboration with VITO as part of the SmartPop research project, is modeling the evolution of urbanization in Wallonia with a view to improving the analysis of environmental and health risks.

The Institute has been invited to take part in the2nd workshop of the founding fathers of the “RuimteModel” to be held this February 05, 2016 in Brussels.

The aim of this event is to bring together all the players who have contributed to the development and evolution of this land use prediction model in the Flemish and Brussels Regions.
