ISSeP’s Moerman NanH2O project focuses on nanoparticles in aquatic environments and, in the context of risk assessment, aims to improve understanding of nanoparticle transfer mechanisms in groundwater in Wallonia. The project focuses in particular on Titanium Dioxide (TiO2), a type of nanoparticle widely used in cosmetic and food applications. As a prerequisite to this study, a new analytical method has been developed to quantify TiO2 in water. The poster presents the method developed and the results obtained.
