May 13-17, 2018 – SETAC Europe 28th Annual Meeting

ISSeP’s Ecotoxicology Unit will be speaking at the twenty-eighth annual meeting of the Society of Environmental Toxicology and Chemistry (SETAC), to be held in Rome from May 13 to 17, 2018. She will present some of the results of the BIODIEN study on the presence of endocrine disruptors in Walloon surface waters. The presentation will focus on the results obtained using the YES and YAS test bioassays, and assess their value as screening tools for endocrine disruption in the aquatic environment.

SETAC, of which the Ecotoxicology Unit is a member, is a worldwide non-profit professional organization made up of over 5,100 individuals and institutions in more than 80 countries. It is dedicated to the study, analysis and resolution of environmental problems, the management and regulation of natural resources, research and development and environmental education. SETAC’s mission is to support the development of principles and practices for the protection, enhancement and management of sustainable environmental quality and ecosystem integrity.
