After several months’ work, ISSeP has published the final report on the results of the AIR-ECOLE study. This project, carried out in collaboration with the provincial SAMIs and Hypothèse asbl and initiated in 2019 aimed to promote improved air quality in and around schools.
In the end, the project met with great interest from the schools. It showed that air renewal is insufficient and needs to be improved in all the schools taking part in the project. It also revealed that teachers, principals and other school staff are not sufficiently aware of the problem of indoor pollution, in terms of both its sources and its effects on health.
and actions to reduce indoor pollution.
